SunPorts

SunPortsProviding shade has become an increasingly vital issue throughout the United States due to ever changing and indeterminate weather conditions as well as the increasing awareness of skin cancer caused by the harmful Ultra-Violet rays from sunlight. Lee Recreation’s cost-effective and aesthetically appealing fabric shade structures are used to shade Parks & Playgrounds, Schools and Daycare Centers, Pools and Waterparks, Sports and Athletic Facilities, Stadiums and Amphitheaters, Hotels and Resorts, Retail and Community Centers and much more.

sun_1Our shade structures utilize the most advanced architectural fabrics available and our support elements are made with the finest quality steel and state-of-the-art connection components. Sun Ports are much less expensive than canvas structures of the same size. As canvas is a heavier, solid fabric (air can not escape through it) it acts like a sail in high winds. Therefore, it requires additional steel uprights to provide stability and strength which leads to much higher costs. On the contrary, Sun Ports, with Shadesure® fabric requires less steel for the same stability and strength. Our modular and custom structures are generally stronger than similar products and will withstand stronger winds. When other products collapse and need to be replaced, Sun Ports remain standing and looking great!
